Taking a Fireworks comp to a CSS-based layout in Dreamweaver
Sheri German and Gordon MacKay have whipped up a 3 part article series on working with a design comp in Fireworks and converting it to a CSS based layout in Dreamweaver. Best of all, its free and on the Fireworks Developer Center!!

Thanks to Sheri and Gordon for sharing these helpful techniques with the community and we also can't forget about our wonderful in-house Fireworks Developer Center Editor and more, Stefan Gruenwedel. :)

Thanks for very interesting article. Can I translate your article into polish and publish at my website?
I will back here and check your answer. Keep up the good work.

The first article on web standards is really so important.
Web standards are so necessary, and are so often overlooked by web designers (especially new designers.) Seriously – it's crazy how many designers are really too lazy to be serious about web standards. There are some shocking designs out there, that are terrible unaccessible. Web standards are to help those kind of things from happening, but some guys just refuse to comply to them. Weird, that's what I say.

I’m currently taking up a short course in web design. More likely, I’ll impress my Instructor once I master this technique. As of now, I’m studying the articles and will likely submit a superb project to my Instructor at the end of our class.
