Who's Using MyIE2?
How many people out there are using MyIE2 as their primary browser? I'm still mostly a Mac user, but I downloaded MyIE2 today on my secondary Windows machine to have a look at it, and I'm very impressed. What's my #1 favorite feature? The ability to reposition tabs! Although I think Safari is generally a pretty good browser, and I love Firefox, MyIE2 is the first implementation I've seen that lets you reposition document tabs, which I have always wanted (as an aside, I think OS X really needs to start embracing the concept of tabs in general). I also like the "Super Drag & Drop" feature, and although I don't know if could get into them or not, I like the idea of mouse gestures. The build-in search feature is also the most sophisticated I've ever seen, and I think the tiling capability is very cool and useful, as well.
I'd love to see a project like this for OS X. I generally like the rendering capabilities of Safari, but I don't think the browser itself is nearly as functional as Firefox, and it's not even close to MyIE2.

Definitely my favorite so far, but I really like Firefox too.
I'd have to say MyIE2's drag and go feature is one of the best; drag a link and release and it's in a new tab. Hilight a search term, drag and release and it sends it to your favorite search engine.

Firefox has an extension that will add drag and drop to tabs:

It's a great extension and I think shoul be default install for Firefox.

I think that it is a shame that MyIE2 is based on IE...
Firefox has tons of extensions that you can install and do most of the things you mention.
Ordering of tabs with drag & drop:

Searches on selected text
http://texturizer.net/firefox/extensions/#searchthis and others
Mouse gestures allow you to drag links to open in tabs, go back and forward, close tabs, windows, etc. I use it all the time and I feel strange when I use a browser that doesn't have them.

I haven't tested MyIE2 yet, but I'm willing to.
I love firefox, especially after installing one or two extensions.
The features that this browser offer may be great, but what about the way things are displayed?
How's this handled in MyIE2? The use of css? Web standards? Is it the same as IE?
What about security? Do these browser manufacters/developers care about it?

Looks like I need to check out Firefox with some of the extensions people have listed here in addition to MyIE2. I ordered a new ThinkPad today, so I'll have an opportunity to use them full-time soon!

I use it and agree with 'it is a shame that MyIE2 is based on IE'. MyIE2 is very robust and has all the features I've grown to love of the other browsers such as Opera and Mozilla-spawn and more. But it's just sad when trying to develop CSS sites... My only other complaint is that MyIE2 does not work with all the toolbars I have for IE, but it does support the Google toolbar and a few others.

You should try Omni Web 5 -- http://www.omnigroup.com/applications/omniweb/5/beta/ -- they're nearing FC release and the browser has a very different implementation of the tab concept. It's a OS X-only browser (company hails back to the NeXT days). Try it out. O'Reilly has a article about it in their Macintosh dev site archives.

I checked it out. It's an improvement (feature-wise) over IE, but since it uses the IE rendering engine, it inherits all the bugs and quirks (particularly CSS implementations) of IE. To make things worse, there won't be any new versions of IE for the Mac, so it's frozen in time...
Firefox remains #1 in my book, both as a user and particularly as a developer.

But IE2 does forms properly. I love Firefox but am giving it up because it doesn't handle forms as well (some pages aren't treated as forms).
