Will you agressively push out this update to Leopard when it's available? Do you have OS version specific way of pushing updates or is it only general update to everyone?

Do you have a timeline/release date for the new Moviestar with bug fixes?

Thanks for posting this note. I Product Manage a web based MLS listing input system which is used by Realtors associated with MRIS. MRIS is the largest MLS in the United States, with over 60,000 members. We recently upgraded our listing input product (known as "Keystone") in order to add support for photo uploads. Our developer used Adobe Flex to embed the photo upload application.

Because of Flex, our photo upload product has a Flash Player requirement. With the release of Leopard, uploads using our new product no longer work with Safari or with Firefox. I have tried uninstalling 9.0.47 player and installing the beta (9.0.64) and also deleting the apple.quicktime.plugin.plist files. I have not been able to get the upload component of our application to work.

Can you please advise if there is a workaround which I can suggest to our customers who went out and purchased Leopard? Also, can you please advise as to your plans to fix this? There is a small percentage of our users who use Mac, but after the release of Leopard, they unfortunately cannot upload photos - I would like to be able to at least advise as to plans to resolve, if not an effective workaround.

Is the Moviestar update due out soon? Any chance the IDE will be updated to allow H.264 and/or fullscreen testing inside?

Also, there's something really odd going on with certain mouse-position related events when you fullscreen in Safari (even in 9.0.64); seems okay in other browsers...

@erki - No, we don't have a push update on Mac. Once it is available, you can download it from Adobe.com

@Michael - no, we don't preannounce release dates, but the Moviestar player will be available before the end of the year.

@Rique - Unfortunately, this was caused by a late change in Leopard and we have to make a change in the player. At this time, there is no known workaround.

@Nall - can you file a bug on Adobe Labs for the mouse issue?

This morning we updated the MAC version of the Flash Player 9 Update beta on http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashplayer9/, specifically to address this issue.

All Leopard users should update to 9.0.98.0 to resolve the filereference issue.

This works in 9r115. Previous players did not support Leopard.
