Dontclick.it

Dontclick.it: Checking MXNA I see that Mike Schleifstein highlighted this site last week, but I didn't click on dontclick.it (hmm ;-) until following a tip from Marilyn Matty on the WebWeavers mailing list. The gist? This site handles user interactions by mouseovers, rather than by mouseclicks. When you approach a menu item the new content slides gracefully into place. Check out how they test for mouseouts too. It feels very natural to me, even though I did slip up and click during their "is this working?" quiz. Seems like something similar could be implemented in JavaScript as well, although the visuals wouldn't feel as sweet. Right now I'm wondering how these interfaces might be employed on non-computer devices. Worth a look!
