Diet Coke vs Coke Zero
Diet Coke vs Coke Zero: Completely off-topic, but it's nice to see Leslie Harpold blogging again, especially when she cites her BevNet and Coca Cola Customer Service sources like that, and I had been wondering about this anyway. Diet Coke uses the otherwise-abandoned "New Coke" formula of 1985, while Coca Cola Zero uses the Classic Coke formula. Both replace sugar with non-caloric sweeteners.

My cabinet at work is full of Coke Zero and DG+Splenda. I like both, but think I'm going to tend towards the Splenda side.

I think they both taste bad, but maybe that's just me. I think Coke Zero tastes a little better than Diet Coke, but it's relative (a burned piece of pizza tastes better than a burned calzone?).

I have been told that an ingredient of diet coke has given 100% of mice tested, brain tumours.
And that they were fasing out diet coke. The ingredient is also found in extra chewing gum also to be fased out.
Is coke zero ok to drink or are there other side affects too??

Go to snopes.com and search for aspartame. It's not as bad as some people make it out to be.

i love coke zero i cant buy or drink enough im upset that icant find it on tape in resturants or convience stores i would love to see it everywhere

yo fools.... I can tell the difference. Coke zero is much tastier....I'll drink it all day long. Diet coke doesn't have the sweet beautiful taste of real coke. it has an aftertaste; coke zero does not.
