Slashdot on merger
Slashdot on merger: On Sunday, Slashdot picked up Wednesday's story about Adobe and Macromedia shareholders both overwhelmingly approved the merger. The Slashdot moderation system still highlights things I don't find of value, and hides things I do find of value... so far my favorite post is the sardonic "Now I only have one corporation to hate on instead of two. This frees up hatred for new and upcoming businesses." But did you see other comments there which caught your eye, whether positive or negative? A link in the comments here would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Thanks, that's a good one.
Anyone got more Slashdot commentary that you think would be useful for Macromedia staff to check out...?

On of the funiest comments about the EULA
"So, we want to audit your use of Flash for compliance with our New and Improved Draconian Terms(tm)."
"What the hell gives you that right?"
"Well, you agreed to the EULA when you installed it...".
"Oh. In that case, I have no copies installed."
"Well, you have to let us verify that!"
"And what gives you that right?"
"I repeat, The EULA."
"You mean the one I didn't agree to when I didn't install Flash?"
"Ummm... Just a dolphin, ma'am..."
