HTTPS +SWF
HTTPS + SWF: Interesting story I found while blogsearching... someone wondered why the Macromedia Store did not show a "lock" icon for Secure Socket Layer encryption, and Christian Elgart of Macromedia shows that the invoking HTML page (which controls the "lock" icon) is actually outside the commerce loop. Could be a good bookmark if you ever need to explain this aspect of SWF security to someone else.

Why cannot this be a panel in the security tab of the settings dialog of the Flash Player?
Perhaps even a persistent icon in the top right of the settings dialog box?
Or perhaps even an icon next to the about option on right click? Something, anything!
