Adobe conference call

Adobe conference call: Execs discuss financial results and take questions from analysts -- starts in just a few minutes, and I believe will be archived on the site for awhile after that. I'll jot notes in the comments here. (And yes, it'll eventually be in Breeze.... ;-)

(I've got low-strength wireless connectivity today, so the audio is cutting in and out on me.)

The first half-hour was mostly numbers... that's what the financial community wants to hear now.

There was passing mention of "the engagement platform", the way that technologies like Flash, Acrobat, HTML, video will be integrated to getting messages across most effectively.

There were questions about whether existing products would be different from taking a year or two to develop and about other future events, but I didn't hear real information among the replies... it would be worth doublechecking my listening here, though, because I had dropouts and other interruptions.

This is quite interesting simply for the program they use to run the conference call.

What will show Adobe's commitment to Macromedia's superior products will be if that begin using Breeze as the standard way of running online meetings like this. Breeze is far better that the system that Adobe is currently using.

Hi John,
I've logged the Q and A's on my blog.

Feel free to extract the relevant info (and forgive my potential mistakes)

Will there definitely be a breeze presentation?

The quarterly breeze presentations have generally found them useful

Thats how i found out about Flex (Royale) all those years ago :)

I'd be surprised if this presentation was redone in Breeze (would essentially require redoing the whole conversation), but I've heard execs mention that they'd like to migrate various functions to Breeze as soon as possible.

(Thanks, Alexandru! :)
