"microsoft to buy macromedia"
"microsoft to buy macromedia": No, not a new news item... after reading a lot of the speculation last week I compared it with all the commentary the last few Decembers about Microsoft acquiring Macromedia. There's not a real futures market on opinions, so those whose speculation is off tend not to really bet on their words. Those older news flurries sure got a lot of attention, though.... ;-)

Heart attack? How? Macromedia no longer exists; Adobe bought them. For you to die, it'd have to be "Microsoft Buys Adobe", but I don't want you to die, nor do I want Microsoft to buy Adobe, but I do want an XBox 360.

They would have a harder time trying to buy Adobe ;) Wasn't this rumour an annual event (1 April)?
I want an XBox 360 too - Micro$oft can do some things well ;) unlike Tel$tra...

Tell you what there's more chance of microsoft aquiring adobe than there is of getting an xbox 360 this side of christmas (well in the UK anyway)

true that, the main reason Adobe acquired Macromedia is so Microsoft doesnt do it first.
