Logging Player issues
Logging Player issues: Could you help me with something, please? This week there's a bunch of Player changes, from the Sony announcement to the security update to the MacTel Player... there's bound to be a couple of scenarios that still need cleanup, like this Washington Post procedure for using Microsoft's ActiveX uninstaller. If, during your webly travels today, you see an actionable item from anyone then a note to the Player team at the wishlist would be great, or use the comments here to alert the crew if the problem isn't clear or needs staff addressing. Thanks for forwarding any difficulties you may see... I expect the rest of this week to be a little quieter than the past 36 hours..... ;-)

hey John,
Regarding the PSP player announcement, I haven't been able to find any official information. One source (1up.com) stated that the PSP browser will support Flash 6 content. Does this mean that you are actually using a derivative of the Flash 6 plug-in, or are you using Flash Lite and Flash 6 support was actually a mistatement?
thanks..

Sorry, Brett, I'd have to defer to the original speech from the Sony exec. I've seen some quotes in various first-person accounts, in English, but I'd prefer to quote him directly if possible.
(I'm skittish on this because Sony is a big company, with a big stake in gaming consoles, and any original content I might venture could end up who-knows-where.)
I've heard internal talk today about the desire to get more info out, but am not yet sure what we'll be able to add. (Fast-paced week here with the multiple security updaters, the Intel Player, more.) Checking....
