Chevy campaign

Chevy campaign: The automaker offers a make-your-own video ad. Then lots of people make impolitic ads, and tell their friends all about it. Then bloggers note the campaign and, amidst much debate, declare Chevy stupid. (Not all, but many.) Then, newspapers note the campaign and... well... after all that, George M. Cohan was probably right, by my reckoning. Even funnier: If the Chevy Apprentice site had been AjaxAjaxAjax, I bet we would have heard all about it by now.... ;-)

Y'know, the more I think about this, the weirder something gets... all these bloggerati must have looked at least once at at least one "SUVs suck!" ad... I'd guess some would jump out to look at the UI to figure WTF on this RIA, not all, but at least some... but I bet that as soon as the end of this week we'll run into that "ajax does everything flash can" line again.... :(
