WebMonkey on Spry
WebMonkey on Spry: Adam DuVander writes an intro to this XML-displaying library for Dreamweaver or other HTML editors. Although Spry "is an Ajax framework", it's implemented as markup rather than as code: "Your JavaScript knowledge can be next to nil and you can still use Spry. Plus, you won't have to change the way you code up your pages. If you use Dreamweaver, then using Spry should be as easy as writing simple HTML. And if you're a hand-coder, there's no need to move to an editor."

One of the things that struck me immediately about Spry was how similar it felt to working with query results in ColdFusion.
Widgets and control objects are nice, but being able to work with datasets so easily is the big advantage here.
