Ads on dynamic pages
Ads on dynamic pages: Interesting problem... at clickz.com, Eric Picard discusses the difficulty of figuring ad impressions (and site revenue) when text content on the page can change after initial delivery. WWW-style advertising was built around the concept of the static HTML page, but what happens when the audience gets new information *after* they've been delivered that initial "page" of content...? "I'm not saying you should avoid using AJAX. But you should be very deliberate about rolling out a new product that could have a significant effect on your ability to measure your business and, of course, one that could completely screw up your impression audits."
