Odeo quoting
Odeo quoting: SWF-based audio firm Odeo reveals that their shell player accepts start and end times in the URL, similar in effect to what Google Video is now doing. Both let your links specify a start point for the audio or video stream; Odeo lets your link quote a specific audio segment. (Also check out the new SWF shell that Odeo offers for exposing and managing different audio content within your website.)

It's about time sites started addressing this! I created a simple quotable Flash player last year when it seemed no one was really trying to make things like podcasts linkable. It didn't catch on, and I couldn't justify putting more time into it, but what puzzled me was how little concern there was about the issue.
