Offkey reporting

Offkey reporting: I've seen a few paid articles with lines like this this week: "Mozilla has updated its Firefox browser to close seven different security holes, capping off a busy week for IT administrators who've had to deal with Microsoft's monthly patch release and security fixes for Apple QuickTime and Adobe Flash Player." There were no new Flash Player security issues this week -- what happened is that old players received cumulative security updates that brought them up to security parity with the current Player. There were probably some IT professionals who had locked on FP7 and updated this week, but it's quite a different issue from the new security changes Firefox and Microsoft have here. I'm concerned because underinformed readers might ding the Player after reading articles written this way.
