Free in Vegas
Free in Vegas: Whether you're attending the MAX conference in Las Vegas next week, or just live in the area or are coincidentally visiting, you might want to attend the free MiniMAX event being held Sunday evening (registration, map). There's also the free MAXUP event held all day Tuesday and Wednesday just outside the conference area (mailing list). The ten-day weather forecast seems a bit more moderate than usual for Las Vegas in October, ranging from mid-50s to high 70s, few clouds. Update: CF Underground, the eighth year of this "unconference", will be held on Sun 22 near the Convention Center (map).
