TechMeme on Google: Funny... a rumor goes out on "google buys youtube", and I think writers at this useful news-gathering site are all saying "wow i wish i could get in on that deal". Slightly different emphasis there, I guess. ;-) But TechDirt's Carlo and Kevin Maney show how so much "news" was built out of so little evidence. I wish I could weed out the writers who consistently don't help me learn new stuff, to focus on those who do.
