"Don't Meet Your Heroes"

"Don't Meet Your Heroes" Great website, aggregating particular news: "Don't Meet Your Heroes is a compilation of CSS and Web Standards related resources and news feeds from sources around the net. I started this site initially for my own use, to keep a centralized place for all things related to CSS, Web Standards and Web Design. In the process, I figured that this resource would benefit other designers and web developers so I put a nicer design around it." I got the tip from Rick den Haan on the Hesketh WebDesign list. Kurt Schlatzer pointed to XmlHttpRequest, a one-page headline listing with more news and jobs feeds, in addition to web-standards writing. If you can get into the WebDesign-L archives then lots of other folks reocmmended particular sites, but I like DMYH, because it's quick to scan for new content without clicking different feeds.
