Happy Milton Friedman Day
Happy Milton Friedman Day: The economist verbalized a lot of the principles of Silicon Valley technology -- people make their own choices, each person is a capable actor, centralized decisionmaking gets bottlenecked quicker than decentralized decisionmaking -- basically being pro-choice on everything, not just one or two things. Today there are many events to celebrate what he accomplished. [via Virginia Postrel]
