YouTube cashbacks

YouTube cashbacks: "In terms of paying users revenue against the content that they're uploading, we're definitely going to move in that direction. " Liz Gannes picked that out from an interview Jeff Jarvis did with YouTube founder/CEO Chad Hurley. Sounds like it would be awhile before any implementation. Transaction mechanisms like this are a new thing, so it would probably take awhile to try out, test, figure what works best... it's particularly difficult to launch globally because each nation has its own regulations... I'm guessing they'd have to test in certain regions first, see how such a system actually works, learn how people wind up using such a new market. It's good news though... the eBay system helped a lot of people financially, and it'd be great if YouTube could do so too.
