Virtual Robert

Virtual Robert: Looks like Robert Scoble will be webcasting, live, from the lobby of San Francisco's Moscone Center, watching the scene at the O'Reilly Web 2.0 Conference as it unfolds this week. It could be fun to see all the people pass by, all the interactions, get all the social context that doesn't come through text alone. Webcasting at conferences isn't new -- Jeremy Allaire and Mike Chambers did so at MAX 2002 -- but here it sounds like Robert also has a Twitter connection, so maybe viewers will have simultaneous worldwide text input into the video as it's being captured. Sounds like a good project.

The difference is that he'll have the camera on his head, and will be walking around.
