iPhone BarCamp
iPhone BarCamp: Link goes to Flickr photos of the devcamp at Adobe San Francisco offices. I got in here late today, about 10:30, but walked into the central first floor packed full of people... rows of tables, everyone bent over computers working... made me really happy to see so much brainpower packed into one room. I'm very appreciative to everyone who made it in here today, good times. Ongoing notes throughout the day will be in comments here.

I'd love to meet up with you. I'm here in the back of the room behind the screen.

Fun talking with Robert Scoble, Dori Smith... we've studied culture/voice interactions from Microsoft, Apple, Macromedia for years, I'm sure there's a book there.
Better photos (via Dom Sagolla) here.
Some of the things I'm reading about this stress "open web vs its enemies". I'm thinking "You're excited about a proprietary device, on a proprietary data network, with proprietary implementations of HTML/JS/CSS specs, and your mailing list requires membership in the proprietary database of Google Groups, but you won't use Flash, well, okay, I hope you can achieve good things anyway."
