On The Bus

On The Bus: In 1967 the Haight-Ashbury had the Summer of Love, but three years before that the Merry Pranksters had seeded society for the changes with a cross-country bus tour. In a few years from today our technology layout will be vastly improved over today -- in some ways imaginably so, in some ways unimaginably so -- and there's also a cross-country bus tour involved, bringing face-to-face contact across the US. And this time we've got remote access for global participation, too! This is the starting week for the on AIR Bus Tour... the new site has tons of links for local and remote participation. Ryan Stewart describes the initial leg, guests and speakers... James Ward links in some additional events in this summer's lineup... Jen deHaan took some photos last night of the big red beauty parked 'back of 601T. I'm hoping it makes an appearance tonight at the first night of the BarCamp iPhone workshop. If you're anywhere near one of the tour stops I'd really encourage you to come around, hang out, see what's going on. It's an historic time! "Further!"
