QT7.2 MIME swipe
QT7.2 MIME swipe: This story broke last week, but it's still getting new play today... if you install QuickTime 7.2 and see a QuickTime icon in a webpage where a Flash file should be, then it's faster to check your QT prefs than to troubleshoot your Player. (Info on the QT prefs process is somewhere on Apple's site.) There are many ways to break configurations, but if you see a QT icon where a SWF should be, then that pretty clearly indicates that the MIME type preferences were changed during the update.
