Player uninstaller

Player uninstaller: With the new beta, it's important to do a clean uninstall before testing. (The Windows Plugin is 1.37 megabytes in size -- tiny, even with the 100K H264 bits in there.) Once you use this uninstallation technote, then the beta is ready to roll. Eric Dolecki is already playing preexisting H264 streams.... ;-)

What's really too bad is that there are no debug player versions for us Flex Builder folks. I won't be able to use the new Update until a new debug player is released. :-(

Hey JD, quick idea:

Could Adobe write a little utility that handles uninstalling / switching player versions that's bundled with the Flash/Flex IDE's. Just so we don't have to keep archived installers around do everything manually, and remember what the current installed version (6, 7, debug?, beta?) is installed. It could go out to labs and notify us when Beta's are available, and allow us to switch easily.
