Player mechanics

Player mechanics: Some addenda to a CNET article here. You don't need to uninstall old Players, because browsers invoke the latest version installed. Technotes recommend a clean uninstall in case of configuration problems or beta-testing, not as a general case. Running the uninstaller will not usually find a browser installed on a portable thumb drive -- part of the rationale behind "portable installations" is that they're system-independent. Adobe staff have been in contact with the reporter in the past.
