Yo BoingBoing!
Yo BoingBoing! The website currently has an article leading "Adobe After Effects (the loving companion to any motion graphics pro) has been crippled by the new Quicktime DRM." I guess the writer didn't review Adobe weblogs before rousing the hordes. Comments there accuse Apple of overcaffeinated moderation of their forums, but me, I'd like it if influential web writers did just a little bit more research before releasing the hounds. I tend to be a pretty casual After Effects user so wasn't aware of this issue. To be honest, the Adobe weblogs aren't exactly full of good info on the issue. The only relevant post I could turn up was here:
http://blogs.adobe.com/keyframes/2008/01/dont_update_to_quicktime_74.html
What else would you've liked Cory to have included in his post? (And why didn't you correct his lack of research with a relevant link?).
Thanks,
A.

Yes, sorry, wrong link in my blogpost... I meant to link directly to Michael Coleman's post you cited.
BoingBoing still hasn't permitted my comment to be published in their essay. Ironic, considering that they blast Apple for not hearing voices in their forums.
