Adobe Flash Media Rights Management Server: New technology. Streaming video has had a big advantage over download-and-play video: both offer the audience viewing rights, but streaming video maintained a connection between you and your audience, while downloaded video could be redistributed without your knowledge, or re-edited without your consent. This new server lets you offer offline viewing while reserving redistribution and re-editing rights. The pricetag is high -- this 1.0 is really only suitable for large organizations, like broadcasters -- but good technologies tend to democratize with time. The web video explosion of the past few years has been spurred by people who figured out new ways to employ the predictable clientside capabilities of Adobe Flash Player. As today's standard video-publishing solution, Flash needs to support unrestricted viewing, copying and reuse, as well support other models of viewing, copying and reuse. I'm still getting a redirect error too, I followed the link from the Adobe homepage too with the same error.
