Buffet vs a la carte
Buffet vs a la carte: When Network Neutrality advocates gather for dinner, they usually won't choose an all-you-can-eat buffet. If the price is fixed, and quantities unlimited, then the quality will probably make up the difference. Price is a signal, and when the price is controlled, then it's harder to really satisfy all parties. Here, the BBC's increasing video footprint is having an effect on all UK bandwidth, and ISPs want tax money via the BBC, rather than charging bigger users bigger prices. It's more likely flatrate bandwidth that's the unsustainable element in that situation.
