Hello, world!
It is about time I got my blogging act together... I'm the Product Manager for Dreamweaver and so I spend a ton of time each day developing sites and applications - and talking with folks who do much the same, both interally here at Macromedia and in the "real world." To be honest, talking with "real people" about what they do is my favorite part of my job, so I figured why not extend these conversations to a blog? So, this blog is an ongoing conversation with you. Fire away!

Looks like I get the honors of commenting first. Lucly me! So who does these blogs? Jen Taylor?

Are you the actor "playing" cortana in halo and halo 2?
Posted by: Morten at July 12, 2006 05:20 AM
Hi Jen,
I was just wondering, i know it may be off-topic and all, but i was wondering if you could tell me how your role is going in the third installment of the Halo saga, and i was just wondering how come when i use the word "Halo" or "Cortana" on certain web-sites it claims that these 2 names or words are not allowed to be used also on the Xbox 360 Dashboard the phrase "HALO" is absolutely not allowed to be used as a MOTTO?. Did Bungie make some sort of deal to prevent the names to be used thinking it'll be abused by us gamers or is it something that im not filled in here? If you can reply to these questions, i will buy a copy of Halo 3 on the X360. LOL!

I have enjoyed all of the work that Jen Taylor has been involved in, the thing is I will probably never have the chance to tell Her. So... I blog with the hopes that I can somehow make Her day a little better. Merry Christmas Jen!

Not everyone named Jen Taylor is the voice actress who played Cortana in Halo. If you'll even take 10 seconds to read the post, you'll see that this Jen Taylor is (was?) the product manager for Dreamweaver! And no, it's not just one person with two widely disparate jobs!

Hello Jen Taylor, I just want to say I think your job is cool as a Product Manager for Dreamwaver. Also I want to know if you are the actress that plays Cortana in Halo. If you, are I just want to say that you have a beautiful voice and that I may just be your biggest fan. You are my favorite female character and then comes Miranda Keyes. Anyways, I love you and you are talented and I'd like to see you in movies.
Love,

Hi Jen Taylor, it's the person who left the comment before this. I understand you may be busy, but please email me to tell me that you are or aren't Cortana in Halo 1-3. Please email me at Chocolatestarsky@aol.com
Thanks

lol if your not the Jen Taylor who did the voice of Cortana in Halo, than you must feel pretty proud of having such a popular name. :P

Looks like ole' Jen is still waiting to get her act together – like she said in her (one) post that's like three years old now. Maybe she is the actress from Halo, and left her Dreamweaver job for that one. That's why she's so busy now, and too good to talk to us from the 'real world' as she put it. Lol. Looks like there's tons happening here! Yesiree, this is the most brilliant blog I've come across. Took me a while to browse through the whole site and digest all this information. He he... come on Jen, give us another post sometime this side of 2010!
I like the way she used past tense in her post 'about time I GOT my blogging act together' – doesn't seem to be that way :)

Great move. I guess your blog will surely keep you updated with the latest in your field. Also, you can also share interesting and helpful tips to others even without you knowing it.

Hey, I was googling my name and you came up,... which is very cool, because I want to be able to learn dreamweaver to be able to change my art website. I currently have a "webmaster" that is like pulling teeth to get him to change or improve anything on my site. I am pretty computer literate, and have worked with photoshop and graphic design. I just downloaded a trial of Dreamweaver CS3 and hope I can learn the HTML or how to use it. Do you have any suggestions?
