Adobe Lightroom Public Beta Launches
As you may have noticed, the Adobe Lightroom public beta program opens today on Adobe (formerly Macromedia) Labs. Designed specifically to support the workflow of professional photographers, we're releasing Lightroom as a public beta in order to get your feedback on how it fits into both your virtual and physical workflow as a photographer.
You can get started immediately by visiting the Adobe Lightroom Beta section of Adobe Labs at the following URL:
http://labs.macromedia.com/technologies/lightroom/
Note- the Adobe Lightroom Beta is only available on the Macintosh platform at this time. Be certain to read the System Requirements and Lightroom FAQ in the 'Product Details' tab at the URL above for more details, of course.

Flash Lite 2 Update for Flash Professional 8 Preview Release
Happy New Year, Flash mobile developers! The Flash Lite 2 update for Flash Professional 8 is now available as a preview release on the Adobe Labs (formerly Macromedia Labs) website. Although it's being made available as a Windows-only download during this preview release, the final release will be cross-platform- and the product team would love to get your feedback on the preview between now and it's final release. This update requires Flash Professional 8 to install, and will add several Flash Lite 2-specific features to the authoring tool, allowing you to build applications and movies for the new Flash Lite 2 player (released somewhat quietly in December on Macromedia.com). Release notes for this updater are posted in the Labs wiki here, and you can of course find more details - along with the download itself - at the Labs website. Enjoy!Posted by sfegette at 06:26 PM | Comments (2)
