Spry Framework for Ajax Prerelease 1.1 Released on Labs
Earlier today we released an update to the Spry framework for Ajax that responds to several issues reported by users since the initial relase of the technology. A detailed change log is available for prerelease 1.1.

Might want to take a look at OpenLaszlo to see this idea done well.
And he's outputting Flash or DHTML!
Only place you have him beat at first glance is the tool of choice to create OpenLaszlo is the Eclipse IDE with a plug-in for openlaszlo

I really like Spry, but i would find a lot of value in nestable regions that are relative based on their parent :). I've seen something similar to Spry, but it was DOM based and pretty slow. One key advantage though, was the ability to reference the parent from the child.

will their be a tutorial on one of your more complex samples i.e your products table or rss feed ... im a novice and find spry really cool
