Adobe InDesign Plug-in Editor Released on Labs

We have released a new utility for Adobe® InDesign® plug-in developers. The Adobe InDesign Plug-in Editor is a suite of tools for developing InDesign plug-ins, made available on the Eclipse platform. It provides functionality for:

* Graphical editing of InDesign plug-in FR UI resources.
* Context-sensitive, error-aware, text editing of InDesign FR files.
* Creating new plug-ins.
* Importing existing plug-ins and SDK samples.
* Building, through your platform default build system.
* Generate widget documentation for your plug-in.

Pixmantec RawShooter Migration Tool Released on Labs

Users of Pixmantec RawShooter Premium and Pixmantec RawShooter Essentials now can quickly and easily migrate their content to Adobe's other imaging products. The Pixmantec RawShooter Migration Tool prerelease, now available on Adobe Labs, is a utility that provides a way to migrate RawShooter settings to visually similar settings within Adobe Photoshop Lightroom or Adobe Photoshop Camera Raw.

New Version of Flash Player 9 Update Released on Labs

A new version of the Flash Player 9 Update beta is now available on Adobe Labs. The centerpiece of this new release is added support for H.264 video and AAC audio, but many other performance and miscellaneous enhancements have also been included. See the release notes for more information.

Downloads for Macintosh, Windows, and Linux are available in addition to an online demo of two different high-definition video codecs.

Adobe AIR Update for Flash CS3 Professional Beta Released on Labs

The ability to create and package Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR) applications has now been extended to the Flash CS3 Professional development community. Adobe AIR update for Flash CS3 Professional beta will allow you to package and preview .air application files directly within Adobe Flash CS3; leveraging your existing Flash development skills to build desktop-enabled distributed applications and experiences with the Adobe AIR framework.

Downloads, documentation, and more are available on Adobe Labs in addition to other tools that can be used to build AIR applications, including Flex Builder 3 and the Adobe AIR Extension for Dreamweaver CS3.

kuler API Released on Labs

An API for kuler, a web-hosted application designed to improve the workflow of creating color themes, is now available on Adobe Labs. With the kuler API, developers can now request RSS feeds of highest rated, most popular, and newest color themes posted to kuler and integrate them within their own web sites.

We're excited to see what you come up with, and we plan to feature the best applications in a Showcase Gallery on Adobe Labs. If you'd like to include your work on the showcase, send the URL of your application to kulerapi(at)adobe.com.
