Text Layout Framework Released on Labs
The Text Layout Framework for Adobe Flash Player 10, an extensible library that delivers sophisticated and innovative typography, is now available for download on Adobe Labs. The framework is designed to be used with Adobe Flash CS4 Professional or Adobe Flex, and is already included in the next version of Flex, codenamed Gumbo. Developers can use or extend existing components, or use the framework to create their own text components.

PatchPanel Released on Labs
Adobe PatchPanel is now available on Adobe Labs. PatchPanel is a Flex library and set of services that make it possible for SWF files to work as Adobe Creative Suite CS3 and CS4 plug-ins.

Durango Released on Labs
Durango, a framework that allows developers to build customizable Adobe AIR applications, is now available on Adobe Labs. Developers can download the Durango SDK to use the Durango framework. Durango enabled AIR applications are delivered as AIR (.air) files which end users install. These applications incorporate the Durango framework and are Durango enabled.

Configurator Released on Labs
Adobe has released Configurator, a utility that enables the easy creation of panels (palettes) for use in Adobe Photoshop CS4, on Labs. Specifically, Configurator makes it easy to drag and drop tools, menu items, scripts, actions, and other objects into a panel design, then export the results for use inside Photoshop. These panels leverage the support for Adobe Flash built into Photoshop, making it possible to drag and drop audio, video, images, and even other SWF files into a panel design.

Centaur and Bolt Details Posted on Labs

Alchemy Released on Labs
A research project, codenamed Alchemy, that allows users to compile C and C++ code into ActionScript libraries (AVM2) is now available on Adobe Labs. With Alchemy, Web application developers can now reuse hundreds of millions of lines of existing open source C and C++ client or server-side code on the Flash Platform. Alchemy brings the power of high performance C and C++ libraries to Web applications with minimal degradation on AVM2. The C/C++ code is compiled to ActionScript 3.0 as a SWF or SWC that runs on Adobe Flash Player 10 or Adobe AIR 1.5.

Flash Catalyst and Gumbo Details Posted on Labs

Flash Catalyst, formerly codenamed Thermo, is a new professional interaction design tool for rapidly creating application interfaces and interactive content without coding that works together with Gumbo, the codename for the next version of Flex Builder. Stratus Details Posted on Labs
Stratus is a hosted rendezvous service that aids establishing communications between Flash Player endpoints. Unlike Flash Media Server, Stratus does not support media relay, shared objects, scripting, etc. So by using Stratus, you can only develop applications where Flash Player endpoints are directly communicating with each other. Flash Player 10 for 64-bit Linux Available on Labs
A new 64-bit Linux version of Flash Player 10 is now available as an alpha on Adobe Labs. This new build offers easier, native installation on 64-bit Linux distributions and removes the need for 32-bit emulation.

Pixel Bender Prerelease 5 Released on Labs
The Adobe Pixel Bender technology delivers a common image and video processing infrastructure which provides automatic runtime optimization on heterogeneous hardware. The fifth prerelease of Pixel Bender includes an update of the Pixel Bender Toolkit and a new Plug-in for Photoshop CS4.
