Bruce Eckel on Java, RIAs, Flash, and Flex
Bruce Eckel, author of Thinking in Java has written an article on his blog about the future of Java interfaces, RIAs, Flash, and Flex. Check it out! Oh, and feel free to promote it so that the world outside of our little echo chamber is aware of it; for me to do so might be self serving :-)

Help the Flex team plan for the future
Now that Flex 2.0.1 is out the door, the team is deep in planning for future releases. To make sure we’re focusing on the right things, we need to hear more from the community, so if you’re using Flex please take a few minutes to fill out a short survey.
The survey can be found here:

As always, we appreciate your valuable feedback.
Thanks,
The Flex team

Flex Napkin Skins
Eylon Stroh is a member of the Flex team working on a new initiative. As part of his educational process he wrote a pretty cool skin for our components. Check out his blog for some really interesting reading on how he did it.

Linux Player Released!
Player 9 for Linux is now officially released. More info found on Emmy's blog and Tinic's blog.
Flex SDK 2.0.1 is the build to use if you're going to develop on Linux, that's where the working FDB for the Linux debug player is.
