A Brief Macromedia.com Overview
Macromedia.com is a large, deep site, made up of many different parts. We roughly divide the site into two broad sections: applications and "static" content (static in quotes since I'm using the term to refer mostly to flat HTML files, but they contain some dynamic elements, such as server side includes). The applications are site areas like the online store (both the Flash and HTML versions), Membership, Showcase, Search, the Knowledge Base, Forums, etc. The content area is just about everything else; the Developer Center, the Solutions area, all Product areas, etc. These are all flat HTML files, built and managed in Dreamweaver.Posted by nstraghalis at 06:46 PM | Comments (9)
