ColdFusion MX 7: Native CFX support on Linux
(Hot fix) Macromedia has created a hot fix for C++ CFX support on newer versions of Linux. This hot fix also allows C++ CFXs to be compiled and work with ColdFusion MX 7.

java.lang.OutOfMemoryError database error
(TechNote) During the upgrade from Breeze 4.1 to Breeze 5.0, the log produces a "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError" message. As a result, the Breeze upgrade process is aborted.

CSS pop-up menus are not supported in Internet Explorer 5 on Macintosh
TechNote: When CSS is used in Fireworks 8 for the appearance of pop-up menus, the parent menu's text is visible thru the submenu's background when previewed or viewed in Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.2 on Mac OS X.

Image rollovers do not export as CSS
TechNote: After choosing CSS Layers for the export option when exporting a Macromedia Fireworks 8 file that includes simple rollovers (buttons), the simple rollovers do not work. The resulting HTML page contains only the "up" image(s).

Incompatibility error when testing or publishing a Flash 8 document
TechNote: After using a miter join for path segments in Macromedia Flash 8 in one file, attempting to test or publish a different file prompts an incompatibility error if the file's publish settings target Flash Player version 7.

Dashboard widgets unable to communicate with the internet
TechNote: Dashboard widgets that make use of Macromedia Flash Player movies (SWFs) may present an alert that an outbound communication was attempted and blocked when trying to send or receive data from third party servers. The user is provided the option to accept the security restriction or open the Flash Player Global Settings page to specify that the SWF should be trusted. When the user selects the Settings button on the alert, it will dismiss the dialog without opening the Flash Player Global Settings page needed to trust the SWF.

Dreamweaver 8.0.1 Updater
(Product update) This product update fixes bugs in Dreamweaver 8.0. All users of the English version of Dreamweaver should apply this updater, regardless of operating system. This updater will update Dreamweaver 8.0 to version 8.0.1.

XML files won't open in Internet Explorer after installing Dreamweaver 8.0
TechNote (Updated): After installing Dreamweaver 8.0 on a Windows 2000, Windows XP SP 1 or Windows XP (no service pack) machine, and making Dreamweaver the default editor for XML files, XML files will not open in Microsoft Internet Explorer. When you try to open an XML file in Internet Explorer, different symptoms can occur.

Document relative paths pointing to items located in the Templates folders are rewritten in new pages created from templates
TechNote: Some developers using Macromedia Dreamweaver have become accustomed to using the Templates folder to store files that are not template (DWT) files. In previous versions of Dreamweaver, paths to these files would not be updated in a page based on a template. When using Dreamweaver 8, however, document relative paths pointing to items located in the Templates folders are rewritten in new pages created from templates.

Understanding the Template Updating option in Dreamweaver 8.0.1
TechNote: After installing the Macromedia Dreamweaver 8.0.1 updater, users will see a new Templates category added to the Site Definition dialog box. This category just has one checkbox: "Template Updating: Don't rewrite document relative paths."

Previously registered users for a Breeze Event receive an error when registering for a new event
(TechNote) If a user has already registered as a guest for a Breeze event in the past and is invited to another Breeze event as a guest, going to the Guest Registration page and clicking on "Click here, if you have previously registered with us" leads to a "Page Not Found" error when using a Mozilla browser.

Answers for quizzes with approximately 50 questions or more are sometimes lost
(TechNote) After taking and completing a course, which includes a quiz with approximately 50 questions or more, a score is reported, but the Breeze Manager reports the course as Incomplete. Some of the answers to the individual questions are not captured.

Content in 4.1 recordings do not play back after the Breeze server has been upgraded to 5.x
(TechNote) Content recorded in Breeze 4.1, such as a PowerPoint file, doesn't play back after the Breeze server has been upgraded to 5.x. Instead of the content playing back, the content is blank.

Breeze Meeting does not support embedded graphics in Macintosh PowerPoint files
(TechNote) PowerPoint files that have been authored on a Macintosh and contain embedded graphics are not converted correctly in Breeze Meeting. After uploading the file in a meeting share pod, the embedded graphics are not visible.
