Cannot take Adobe Captivate Quiz that is embedded in PPT published to Connect Server
(TechNote) If you embed Adobe Captivate content that contains a quiz into PowerPoint and then publish to Connect Server, a user will not be able to attempt the Adobe Captivate quiz. The question slide of the Adobe Captivate quiz will display "You did not answer this question completely" and all controls that are part of the quiz, such as the radio buttons and the submit buttons, are disabled.

"By Slides" report for published Adobe Captivate content does not report first slide
(TechNote) When publishing Adobe Captivate content to Connect Server using Adobe Captivate version 1.01 build 1418, the "By Slides" report will not record the first slide. For example, if you have 25 slides in your Adobe Captivate project, the "By Slides" report will only show slides 1-24.

Relevant Slide link does not take you directly to the Adobe Captivate content slide
(TechNote) The Relevant Slide(s) links that return after you search keywords using the Search Content feature in Connect Manager will not take you directly to the slide that contains the keyword in an Adobe Captivate presentation. The Adobe Captivate content will play all slides regardless.

(TechNote) Information on how to add existing users to groups through CSV import is missing from the 'Creating and Managing users and groups' section of the Breeze online help documentation. You access the online documentation from the Help menu on the Breeze Manager Home page.

Attempting to upgrade the Breeze Meeting add-in fails on Windows 98
(TechNote) Users that are running Windows 98 and have the Breeze Meeting add-in version 7,0,55,312 installed will need to uninstall the existing add-in before upgrading to a new version of the Breeze Meeting add-in.

The Z-order of overlapping pods are preserved in a Breeze Meeting
(TechNote) Prior to Adobe Connect 6, when you overlapped pods within a Breeze meeting room, switched to a different layout and then returned back to the previous layout, the Z-order of the overlapping pods was not preserved.

ColdFusion MX 7: Hot fix for "Could not Unlock the Named Lock" error
(Hot fix) The following error may be encountered intermittently:
Could not unlock the named lock YourLockName because no lock by that name is known.
Adobe has released a hot fix for this issue.

External users can not access Connect Profesional when clustered with NLB
(TechNote) With an NLB cluster setup, you have tested it internally and it works but external users are not able to connect to Connect Professional. Or, in some cases, you may have the same issue with internal users.

PDF is not supported in screen sharing

Login IDs cannot be created with a language other than English
(TechNote) Many Connect customers are international companies and, as such, they have Connect users that speak English, some that speak French and some that speak both.
There are two methods for creating new Connect login IDs using Connect Enterprise Manager: interactively, in the NewUser page, one login ID at a time and, in batch, using the CSV import feature. Neither method supports the setting of the user profile language property.

Adobe Connect Enterprise Server 6.0 does not require Microsoft Windows Server 2003 SP2
(TechNote) As of February 6, 2007, the Connect Enterprise Server 6 Installation and Configuration Guide in the "Software requirements for Connect Enterprise Server" table states that Connect 6.0 requires either "Microsoft Windows Server 2000, or Microsoft Windows Server 2003 SP2". This is an error, and will be fixed in the install guide.

How to modify email templates
(TechNote) Connect (formerly known as Breeze) has a variety of email notifications that it can and will send to users. Email notifications can be sent for Meeting invitations, forgotten password emails, Event invitations, Event login instructions, Course enrollment, and more.
All of these types of email notifications have default templates that can be modified to suit the purposes of the Administrator.

(TechNote) Breeze and Connect are Java applications that depend on the Sun Java Virtual Machine (JVM) for their time information. Because of this, the new US Daylight Savings Time changes for 2007 will affect Breeze and Connect Enterprise servers.

Restricting access to the Acrobat Connect Enterprise Manager
(TechNote) There are cases where the Acrobat Connect administrator may want to restrict access to the Enterprise Manager. The Manager is already secured by requiring credentials (loginID and password) to login to the webapp, but additional security can be configured by limiting access to the webapp by IP address (or host name).

ColdFusion MX 7.x: Preventing client variables from purging every millisecond
(TechNote) In order to control the frequency of client variable purging, some administrators may set the Client Variable Purge Interval to 0 hours 0 minutes, believing this will disable the client purge scheduler. However, this causes ColdFusion MX 7 to immediately begin purging client variables approximately every millisecond. The additional scheduler load could consume the server and possibly begin queuing client requests.

ColdFusion MX 7.0.2: Preventing empty ColdFusion query objects when using Informix
(TechNote) ColdFusion MX 7.0.2 fails to return a query object for empty record sets from Informix databases after applying hot fix 64430. While the ColdFusion debug output will show the SQL string for the query, all of the query variables (for example, currentRow, columnList, or recordCount) will return undefined errors similar to the following:

"Request not processed" when opening a meeting room with credentials that have expired
(TechNote) There is a known issue where, if a Connect 6 or Breeze 5 login ID has an expired password and the user tries to enter a meeting room using the same login ID, they will get a "request not processed" error instead of the please-change-your-password page.
